I used to think that romantic ideas should be used only on special occasions. Boy was I wrong! When you use some romantic evening ideas out of the blue, their impact is much stronger.

Lets face it, anniversaries, valentine's day, birthday, it's a given that something special is going to happen. So why not make tonight a memorable evening?

I know that my husband gets very excited when he gets home and smells a special meal made just for him.

So prepare something for your honey that you know he is going to enjoy! To make it even more special, make sure you set the table in a romantic way.

To set a romantic table you can do the following:

• Cover your table with a nice table cloth. If possible make sure to have matching cloth napkins.

• Next get some flowers and place them at the center of the table. Make sure that the flowers are set low, so it doesn't block your view. By the way(the not so romantic, but realistic part) if he suffers from pollen allergies skip the flowers.

• To set a romantic mood, make sure the room is not too bright. What you can do is light up a bunch of tea-light candles surrounding your table. Then you can put some long candles on the table.

• If you have some china, it's time to bring it out. In case that you don't you can always go to a store and buy just 2 sets of some really nice dishes.

• Once you have the plates set on the table you can make a special card with his name on it. Inside you can write a short, but meaningful message.

Just in case you are not the best cook or don't have the time, you can still have the same impact by just ordering some food. You only need to put your heart on it, and he is sure to appreciate all the romantic evening ideas you have plan for him.

I must admit that I love dong this! Sometimes when my husband gets home, I have some romantic music playing and I just go and greet him with a big hug and a very passionate kiss.

• Have some finger foods or different appetizers set nicely on a table. This way you can continue dancing while eating at the same time.

• Turn off your cell phones! You don't want any interruptions, this is a special time just for you and him.

As women we love to take bubble baths and pamper ourselves. So why not let him join you and have a romantic bubble bath for two?

Here are some ideas that can use:

• Make sure you don't fill the tub too high. When the two of you get in you don't want the water going all over the place.

• You can use bubble bath or even some bath crystals. Just make sure that you pick something that is not going to make him smell too "girly" afterwards.

• Keep the lights off; instead light up some candles.

• In the background have some romantic music playing.

• Since you two are going to have a really good time, give him a bubble bath coupon for next time. He won't be able to to wait to have a bath with you again.

• Be there. What I mean by this is that even thought you might be there physically, your mind might wander off to other places. So just focus on each other and enjoy every moment you spend together.

• If you have any pets, take them outside or to some other room.

• If he usually gets home before you, see if you can leave early from work so you can set everything up.

• Just tell him how much you love him, and seal it with a kiss.
